About This Role

As a Client Relationship Banking Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering a superior banking experience by acquiring, retaining, and expanding relationships with both business and consumer clients while embodying the ConnectOne culture.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Uphold the Bank's commitment to a people-first approach by greeting clients personally, maintaining professionalism, ensuring the branch meets ConnectOne standards, and collaborating effectively with the Branch team to create a welcoming environment.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for relationship growth by cross-selling the Bank's products and services in a consultative manner.
  • Facilitate account openings for deposit products and educate clients about the Bank's offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with operational, security, and control procedures to prevent fraud and safeguard customer assets.
  • Address customer service inquiries by conducting thorough research, taking ownership, and providing follow-up until resolution.
  • Assist fellow branch team members with transactions and overall operations, offering feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Conduct service transactions for the Branch, including check re-orders, address/name changes, safe deposit box access, outbound wires, account maintenance, and client outreach.
  • Serve as the primary backup for the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager in operational and service-related tasks.
  • Support Teller functions as needed, including processing banking transactions over the phone or at the drive-up window, such as accepting deposits and cashing checks.
  • Actively participate in achieving branch sales goals.
  • Maintain a service performance rating of over 90% and implement feedback from mystery shops.
  • Engage in retail and community events to promote the brand in alignment with the retail business strategy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong sales skills focused on client needs.
  • One to three years of experience in bank platform sales and teller operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal banking regulations and compliance.
  • A genuine interest in a people-first approach.
  • Proven ability to assess and meet customer needs and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent team-building and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Mastery of ConnectOne Bank culture.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule to meet business needs.
