Job Title: Civil Engineer Water/Wastewater Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Water/Wastewater Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Water business, you will be responsible for designing and developing water and wastewater systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop water and wastewater systems, including engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Analyze and design water and wastewater system components, including pipes, pumps, and treatment plants.
  • Evaluate and select water and wastewater systems and materials, and develop specifications for project implementation.
  • Contribute to the development of water and wastewater systems through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
  • Prepare engineering project documents, client presentations, and client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
  • Prepare water and wastewater engineering documents, including construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
  • Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals, respond to requests for information, prepare site observation reports, and perform other contract administration tasks.
  • Recognize and address technical problems, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
  • Attend and assist in client, contractor, stakeholder, and regulatory agency meetings to gain a better understanding of client goals, site assessments, and vendor/equipment supplier contacts and coordination.
  • Participate in basic cost estimating under the direction of technical leaders to support engineering projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to successfully obtain within twelve (12) months.
