Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. As a Physician Assistant in our primary care clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care to insured and uninsured children and adults.
Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the attending physician, you will provide services in a team-based, patient-centered primary care clinic.
- You will work with a diverse patient population, including those who experience barriers to accessing care due to income, language, cultural, and social barriers.
- You will be required to work a flexible schedule and participate in on-call rotations with other clinic providers.
- You will report to the Director of Rural Clinics.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant in an outpatient primary care clinic, community health center, or similar setting.
- Must hold an academic degree and completion of a specialized Physician Assistant Training Program.
- Successful completion of a national physician assistant examination prior to being licensed by the Physician Assistant Board in California.
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in good standing from the California State Physician Assistant Board.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
- Satisfactory report from the National Practitioner Data Bank.
- Ability to successfully meet Dignity Health's credentialing and privileging processes upon hire and biannually thereafter.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to verbally communicate in Spanish is highly desirable.
- ACLS certification.
