Licensed Vocational Nurse, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the Sierra Conservation Center in Tuolumne County. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to inmates with mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities, or visually impaired, medically ill, or infirm inmates.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic level of general nursing care to inmates under clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Current valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a correctional or healthcare setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
