Certified Nursing Assistant

About the Role:
The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing direct care and activities of daily living for our residents. This position requires a compassionate and empathetic individual who can work as part of a team to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Report any changes in resident condition to the nurse promptly, adhering to facility policy.
- Immediately report any suspected abuse or neglect, upholding facility policy.
- Utilize electronic systems of documentation accurately, as required by facility policy.
- Attend and complete educational offerings, obtaining at least twelve hours of continuing education annually, as per state regulations.
Requirements:
- Be a Certified, Registered, or State Tested Nursing Assistant.
- Must be eighteen years old or older at the start date of employment.
- Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others.
- Ability to understand and follow work assignments.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing, and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the long-term care setting.
- CPR Certification.
