The Opportunity
We are seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing ExpressCare locations in Lawrence, MA, and Andover, MA. Our urgent care services are designed to close the gap between primary care and emergency care, offering prompt, walk-in treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
Our services include x-ray, lab, and rapid point of care testing, all on-site. We are open seven days a week with convenient hours:
- Monday - Friday: 7:30am-7:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am-4:30pm
- Sunday: 8:30am-2:30pm
We are looking for an adaptable Advanced Practice Provider with an interest in providing patient-facing care in a high-volume, urgent care clinic. The ideal candidate profile is someone who possesses relevant licensure, experience, skills, and competencies, as well as positive attitudes, innovative spirits, and genuine passion for the work.
Qualifications- Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with clinical training in family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or another specialty.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience that includes the care of pediatric patients (3 years and older) preferred.
- Massachusetts NP or PA license required.
- DEA and state-controlled substances license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience in procedures including suturing and splinting preferred.
- Experience in reading diagnostic studies, including X-Rays and EKG's preferred.
