Cleveland Clinic's Dermatology Department is seeking an experienced APRN/PA Manager to lead our team.

As an APRN/PA Manager, you will be responsible for the direct care of patients, as well as managerial duties. You will engage in the direct care of patients that aligns with department and team goals. You will provide liaison functions between Advance Practice Registered Nurses/Physician Assistants, staff physicians, administration, other departments, and external groups. You will communicate and collaborate with the Directors of APRN/PA services for updates in APRN/PA guidelines and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

* Clinical supervision and annual review of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Physician Assistants
* Assists in the selection and evaluation of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Physician Assistants
* Develops and implements competencies for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses/Physician Assistants
* Develops and implements process improvement initiatives and procedures for the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant group
* Participates in development and implementation of Institute quality improvement initiatives
* Works in conjunction with physician staff to recommend, evaluate and procure new technology and supplies for the Institute
* Develops and administers Institute policies and procedures
* Assures compliance with practice standards for the safe delivery of care
* Monitors and assures effective and safe implementation of clinical protocols
* Assures that compliance policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to
* Assures Advanced Practice Registered Nurses/Physician Assistants are compliant with licensure, certification requirements and supervision agreements
* Ensures compliance with quality monitoring reports as required

Requirements include:

* Minimum three years' experience working as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
* Must have management/leadership experience with demonstrated competency of clinical skills and techniques
* Must have a Physician Supervision Agreement and/or signed addendum to Physician Supervision Agreement
* Must be privileged by CCF's Credentialing Board
* Ability to interact effectively with all members of the Institute and other Cleveland Clinic employees at all levels
* Ability to lead and work with groups to manage the group process and to use facilitative skills
