Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to lead our project teams in delivering high-quality projects. As a Senior Project Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project documentation, modeling, quality control, consultant coordination, and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams in design documentation, modeling, and quality control
  • Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables
  • Develop and implement project manuals and document quality control reviews
  • Participate as a technical resource and lead core skills and lessons learned initiatives
  • Research and comply with architecture practice statutes and building codes
  • Understand and apply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes
  • Understand building systems selection, evaluation, and detailing
  • Understand construction sequencing and constructability and project budgets
  • Understand project and professional liability and actively monitor for conditions that could increase risk
  • Work closely with the Project Design Team and Design Principal to execute the project
  • Actively manage budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; and project team assignments
Requirements
  • 12+ years of relevant architecture experience
  • College graduate with a relevant, NAAB-accredited degree
  • Professional registration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Core Skills, Revit, Sketchup, Public Speaking, LEED Green Associate Certification
Physical Demands

Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs; frequently operates a computer and other office equipment; ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings; constantly communicates with project team and related parties; ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production; and ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance. May require travel or co/location.
