Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist RRT will be responsible for coordinating and delivering respiratory care services to patients in accordance with the department's policies and procedures. This includes performing diagnostic tests, administering respiratory therapies, and monitoring patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • State licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
