- Oversees the operations of multiple departments, managing department heads and staff to ensure tasks are completed on time and operational challenges are addressed. Provides insights and recommendations to upper management.
- Administers a variety of insurance programs, including health, liability, property, and workers' compensation. Manages claims, legal representation, and settlement processes.
- Oversees capital projects, managing the design, bidding, and construction phases.
- Represents upper management in labor negotiations, analyzing financial data and preparing necessary documentation.
- Handles long-term debt acquisition and coordinates risk management initiatives for the organization.
- Completes special projects and serves as a liaison for senior management as required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Genuine interest in local government operations.
