About the JobWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to join our team at The Neighborhood At Cullman. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Job DescriptionAs a Caregiver Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide hands-on care and assistance to our residents with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also assist with medication administration, meal preparation, and other tasks as needed.
You will work closely with our Wellness Director to develop and implement Personalized Service Plans (PSPs) that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident. This may involve participating in service plan review meetings with families, updating PSPs as needed, and ensuring that all resident rights are respected.
Required Skills and Qualifications- High School education preferred and may be required by the state
- Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal care aspects of the position
$12.50 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience
