Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the creation and management of all project-related documentation.
  • Organize and lead project transition meetings to gather essential information prior to the construction phase.
  • Develop project budgets by analyzing plans and specifications, identifying costs for each scope/item/division, and ensuring accuracy in cost codes.
  • Secure necessary permits for project execution.
  • Finalize the Schedule of Values for client billing.
  • Construct and actively manage the project timeline in collaboration with field supervisors.
  • Complete job number request forms for accounting purposes.
  • Prepare electronic timesheets aligned with cost code breakdowns.
  • Ensure financial success of projects by managing schedules and budgets, reporting monthly on job costs, and striving for profitability.
  • Draft and negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders as needed.
  • Manage subcontractors in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and maintain a material status log.
  • Collect and organize submittals and product samples for necessary approvals.
  • Track productivity through daily logs and prepare inspection reports.
  • Facilitate communication of project specifics through RFIs.
  • Prepare monthly project invoices.
  • Address cost discrepancies through data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate on pricing, negotiating, and formalizing changes in project scope.
  • Document external schedule impacts through Notices of Delay.
  • Work closely with Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents to meet project timelines.
  • Recruit field personnel as necessary and coordinate onboarding with HR.
  • Ensure client satisfaction while balancing project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Review and submit timesheets for HR/Payroll processing.
  • Conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Manage safety, quality, and productivity standards on-site.
  • Submit safety and quality incident reports to HR.
  • Approve invoices using accounting software on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site.
  • Update the Opportunity Project Tracking Form for CRM management.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in project management or a degree in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • PMP, CCM, or similar certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in Design/Build is a plus.
  • OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Training are required.
  • Extensive experience managing construction project budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
  • Highly organized with proven leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with construction management software.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to effectively plan and collaborate.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
