Role Summary
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care division. In this role, you will be an integral part of our esteemed physical therapy team, providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patient conditions upon physician referral.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients and their families on the latest rehabilitation techniques and practices.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a valid NYS license.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in adult inpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
- In-depth knowledge of adult orthopedic surgeries and post-operative care.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, along with a proactive approach to patient care.
- Experience in leadership or senior roles is highly desirable.
