Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Fairview Ridges Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing support services throughout the patient care units, including the ICU and ED.
- Respond to emergent/urgent situations, monitoring critical patients and assisting physicians as needed.
- Work two shifts in the Emergency Department and/or ICU, gaining valuable experience and skills in critical care.
- MN RN License in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as RN in ICU and/or ED or other critical care areas, including experience with advanced airways and telemetry.
- BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.
- Ability to meet annual validation of competencies and mandatory education requirements for all units that the nurse may be floated to.
- BSN or MSN degree.
- National certification in specialty area of practice (e.g. AACN certification).
- 3 years of experience as RN in ICU and/or ED or other critical care areas, including experience with advanced airways and telemetry.
- A competitive starting base rate of pay: $41.69 per hour.
- Extra pay for weekend shifts: $2.00 per hour.
- Extra pay for night shifts: $4.00 per hour.
- Extra pay for being in the float pool: $2.00 per hour.
