Fairview Health Services is seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN.
About the Role:This is a 0. FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position with overnight shifts from 7pm-7am, 12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and identify encouraged nursing outcomes;
- Develop a nursing plan of care;
- Implement interventions as needed during treatment based on the plan of care;
- Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and encouraged outcomes;
- Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes;
- Coordinate care with members of the health care team and delegate responsibilities to others as appropriate;
- Demonstrate the ability to advance care by applying standards, guidelines, care pathways, and continuous improvement to improve patient outcomes.
- MN RN License;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through Healthcare Providers;
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN);
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher, Certification in related specialty, minimum of one year current medical surgical RN experience in a Hospital setting, one year adult critical care experience, Certification by the American Association of Critical Care Nursing or in a related specialty.
