Human Resource Generalist
PCR Staffing is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Generalist to enhance our human resources operations. This role offers opportunities for advancement within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing policies related to various human resources functions, including but not limited to Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits Administration, and Training Programs.
This is a Direct Hire position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience, and includes comprehensive benefits.
The Human Resource Generalist will:
- Identify and ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
- Assist the Human Resource Manager in developing and overseeing Employee Training Programs.
- Support recruitment efforts by conducting interviews and assessments for vacant positions.
- Facilitate new employee orientation to promote a positive company culture.
- Maintain accurate records of benefits participation, personnel transactions, and employee statistics for compliance reporting.
- Coordinate training for management and staff on various HR-related topics, including safety and performance evaluations.
- Address employee inquiries regarding insurance and benefits matters.
- Advise management on resolving employee relations issues and inquiries about policies and procedures.
- Assist in the administration of performance review and salary administration programs to ensure fairness and compliance.
- Manage benefits programs, including health, dental, and disability insurances, as well as retirement plans.
- Oversee the documentation and filing of disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Collaborate with management to investigate workplace incidents and prepare necessary reports.
- Prepare and submit Worker's Compensation reports as required.
- Conduct safety training in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Perform wage surveys to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Process and maintain benefits enrollment documentation, coordinating with managers and employees.
- Prepare the budget for human resources operations.
- Conduct exit interviews to understand employee turnover.
- Compile reports and recommend strategies to reduce absenteeism and turnover rates.
- Assist with VISA applications and documentation for foreign employees.
- Engage with external vendors for employee services as needed.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Uphold confidentiality standards for all employee records and information.
