Coordinator for the Internal Medicine Residency Program
Full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, typically between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
Role Summary:
The Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering administrative assistance to the Program Director, Associate Program Directors, and Residency Program Managers. This position ensures the timely and effective management of program documentation, data management, travel arrangements, and meeting organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates data entry in New Innovations, oversees checklist monitoring, and manages duty hour/procedure logging, including didactic sessions and survey completions.
- Organizes and schedules meetings/events, maintains agendas, and prepares meeting minutes.
- Coordinates logistics for program events, including room scheduling, audio/visual support, catering, and document preparation for presentations.
- Assists in the management and execution of operational activities related to the program.
- Supports various program events such as retreats, orientations, graduations, conferences, daily didactics, meetings, and interviews.
- Provides assistance to Residency Program Managers with electronic databases, including New Innovations, Thalamus, ERAS, and ADS.
- Helps with In-Training Exam registration, scheduling residents, and proctoring the exam.
- Assists in the scheduling of interviews and recruitment activities.
- Collects and organizes necessary recruitment documentation.
- Supports Residency Program Managers in reviewing and updating the program website.
- Offers travel and administrative support to the Residency Program Director and Associate Program Directors.
- Exemplifies and upholds the values of Nuvance Health.
- Maintains consistent and reliable attendance.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
