Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a qualified and seasoned Senior Network Systems Engineer to contribute to our professional team. This role is essential in providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP). The ATMP leverages the expertise of leading systems integration and engineering firms to enhance the technical integration of live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver maintenance support for the Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT), ensuring that SAF and AAR emulators interact seamlessly with CCTT manned modules to facilitate real-time, fully interactive collective task training on computer-generated environments.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data processing challenges, coordinating efforts with program stakeholders and users. Adapt design methodologies effectively based on successful precedents.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in network administration, along with a solid understanding of relevant system software, computer hardware, and operational processes pertinent to the assigned subject-matter area.
  • Execute software upgrades, address network connectivity challenges, and conduct data collection for performance assessment as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all maintenance activities by entering data into the Management Information System (MIS). May be required to assist with other devices and undergo cross-training as necessary.

Mental and Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and wear necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to perform duties under extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license and maintenance of driving privileges.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Potential requirement to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position may necessitate travel to various installations and ATMP locations.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will possess a 4-year bachelor's degree in electronics or a related technical discipline, along with 4 years of recent experience as a systems analyst. Strong computer software skills are essential. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, including military training, technical schooling, or professional experience.
