Job Summary:

The Assistant Production Manager plays a crucial role in the Production Department, assisting the Production Manager in organizing and supervising work. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Production Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities.
  • Monitor and recommend changes in work methods and equipment usage to improve labor utilization and production efficiency.
  • Conduct new hire and ongoing training in all production departments.
  • Consult with engineering, sales, and service management to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Responsible for execution of company production policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to department budgets, hiring, discipline, and employee relations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of business management experience in a production environment with strong supervisory and management skills.
  • Good organizational skills, ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff.
  • Recognize colors, sizes, and types of product, count, add, and subtract accurately.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, and good time management skills.
