Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF-based systems for human spaceflight. Your expertise in software development, particularly in C/C++ and Unix/Linux or VxWorks Operating Systems, will be essential in driving our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF-based systems for human spaceflight
  • Develop requirements and test plans for design
  • Perform trade studies for technical solutions, including make/buy recommendations
  • Develop documentation that supports analysis and design reviews
  • Interface, communicate, and drive decisions with cross-discipline teams
  • Resolve problems encountered in testing and verification processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical/computer, software engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related disciplines
  • Experience with C/C++ language
  • Experience with Object-Oriented-Programming (OOP)
  • Experience with Unix/Linux or VxWorks Operating Systems
  • Experience with developing real-time software applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Digital signal processing such as Reed-Solomon, Viterbi encoding/decoding, convolutional encoding
  • Crypto experience (AES)
  • Knowledge of 802.11n/ac/ax protocols
  • Experience using NASA's Core Flight Software (CFS) or equivalent frameworks
  • Experience integrating Flight Software in real-time environments
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software development process
