About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Recovery Nurse to join our team at Overlake Hospital Medical Center. As a key member of our Outpatient Recovery Team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide preoperative, phase I and phase II care for patients undergoing outpatient surgery
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to physicians
  • Assist with patient education and discharge planning
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
  • Healthcare provider CPR Certification required
  • 1 year of PACU experience in an ambulatory or inpatient surgical setting required
  • ACLS and PALS certification required prior to start
