Job Description:
You will be responsible for providing spiritual support to patients and their families, promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and with external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include explaining hospice services and Medicare benefits, obtaining informed consent and election of benefits documents, and submitting documentation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong spiritual care skills, including counseling and pastoral support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Divinity, Social Sciences, or related field preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This role requires regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity, as well as the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In a healthcare setting, exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and conditions typical to the field is expected.
