Job Summary

The Dietary Aide III is a key member of our Nutrition Services team, responsible for ensuring patients, families, and visitors receive exceptional nutritional care. This role involves processing meal orders, monitoring diet orders, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide optimal nutrition support.

Responsibilities

  • Process meal orders and maintain accuracy between patient trays, delivery, and pick-up
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, doctors, clinical dietitians, and other department staff to provide comprehensive nutrition care
  • Engage in routine functions with excellent customer service, utilizing an understanding of special dietary needs
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred
  • Current Washington State Food Handlers Card
  • Minimum six (6) months experience in a customer service-oriented position preferred
