Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operational procedures of the office.
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Provide comfort to patients and maintain an inviting reception area.
  • Manage incoming calls; address inquiries; resolve issues; and schedule appointments.
  • Handle co-pay collections and ensure accurate daily financial reconciliations.
  • Assist patients in completing necessary documentation and forms.
  • Maintain patient records using the practice's EMR system.
  • Coordinate physician schedules in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Facilitate the distribution of quality assurance surveys and preventive screenings.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor and respond to messages from Care Team inboxes.
  • Ensure all patients requiring appointments are scheduled appropriately by reviewing daily visit lists.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Contribute to team efforts by adapting to various roles as needed.
  • Ensure the office operates smoothly by following established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Work schedule: 4-10 hour days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday).
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in typing and computer skills is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
Salary up to $22 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes Tuition Reimbursement, Health Insurance from day one, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, generous Paid Time Off, and 8 paid holidays (including 2 floating holidays).
