Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary

The Cybersecurity Engineer position at TEKsystems is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect our clients' computer systems, information, and networks from unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. This role requires a multidisciplinary background in cybersecurity, IT GRC, and related fields, including client-server systems, networking, and application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security solutions to protect against threats and vulnerabilities
• Design and assess security architectures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure the effectiveness of security solutions

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity technology design and administration in large, complex environments
• Experience with compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and SOX
• Strong understanding of data center technologies and concepts, including services, cybersecurity, infrastructure design, and disaster recovery practices
