Job Title: Tax Manager and M&A Accounting Manager

About the Role:

Magneto & Diesel Injector Service Inc is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager and M&A Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the tax compliance and financial operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation of business valuation models and accounting analysis for due diligence and negotiation processes.
  • Partner with external valuation consultants and auditors to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of acquired companies into our existing business processes, ensuring seamless financial operations and compliance.
  • Ensure the financial integrity of financial data in our ERP system and any new software for merger and acquisition sites.
  • Onboard new acquisitions onto our ERP system, reconciling all AR and AP data, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Partner with 3rd party advisors for quarterly and annual reporting and payment of income taxes, sales taxes, and property taxes.
  • Support the Corporate Controller and Accounting Manager with the monthly close process, reporting, audit, and other special projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 7-10 years of progressive financial and accounting related work experience.
  • Experience with net working capital analysis, opening balance sheets, and valuation projects.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in developing financial models and analyzing financial statements.
  • Hands-on experience with various accounting systems and a strong understanding of financial operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, with excellent communication and technical skills.
