Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Co-op to join our team. As a Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on various engineering activities, including product development, field service, product quality, productivity improvement, and engineering innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of projects and lead smaller-scale projects as a program manager.
  • Assist with Kaizen events and complete line performance analysis using KPI metrics.
  • Utilize various programs such as Windchill, AutoCAD, SAP, and Creo to complete tasks.
  • Conduct studies of critical processes and support the implementation of material movement strategies.
  • Create and update various plant drawings maintained by engineering.
  • Work with materials planning to order appropriate materials and issue trackers in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience using Microsoft Products, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in CAD or SolidWorks.
  • Understanding and demonstration of engineering terms and concepts.
  • Willingness and desire to develop a career in Engineering.
  • Creative, flexible, and deadline-oriented with a basic understanding of project management.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness, team, and interpersonal skills to participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are required in performing all functions of this position.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
  • Prefer the student to rotate to work a minimum of 2 semesters/40 hours per week.
