Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent as needed;
- Assist in overseeing the project permitting process;
- Help prepare bid packages and manage procurement activities;
- Ensure that project engineering tasks align with company standards and contractual obligations while facilitating the overall construction timeline;
- Collect submittals from subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining a comprehensive submittal log;
- Review processed submittals and communicate with subcontractors and suppliers;
- Gather additional information for submittals as necessary and manage revisions;
- Request quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for additional work as required;
- Establish initial contracts and project details in project management software;
- Monitor, review, and track the status of submittals;
- Initiate, prepare, review, and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs);
- Update the construction schedule based on input from the project team, trade contractors, and material deliveries;
- Manage change orders and quotations, including soliciting and reviewing proposals;
- Track and verify material deliveries;
- Willingness to travel frequently and maintain eligibility to operate a company or personal vehicle for business purposes; and
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college program;
- Ability to travel within the designated region;
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
- Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, customer service, and analytical skills;
- Familiarity with Suretrak and Timberline Estimating is advantageous;
- Spanish language skills are a plus.

This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This role involves working in diverse settings, including outdoor environments with varying weather conditions and noise levels. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines will be utilized.

Position Type and Work Hours
This is a non-union position with expected work hours typically ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week.

Education and Experience Requirements
A high school diploma (or equivalent) and enrollment in an accredited university or college program are required.

- Possession of a current and valid driver's license in the state of residence (must be insurable by the company's automobile insurance provider).
- Must meet the criteria set forth in the Fleet Safety Management policy to operate a company or personal vehicle for business purposes.
