Position Overview:
As a Nursing Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality nursing care. Your focus will be on achieving optimal clinical outcomes, enhancing patient and family satisfaction, and fostering employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure compliance with Genesis policies, procedures, and regulatory standards within the nursing units.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to formulate, allocate, and manage the nursing department budget.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and mentor nursing staff to excel in their roles.
- Assist in nurse staffing processes, including performance evaluations, interviews, and orientation.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a degree from an accredited nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical experience is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within long-term care.
- Familiarity with the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and relevant regulations is essential.
- Availability for on-call duties is required.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Target: $88,000 - $90,000 / year
