About the Role:
The Engineering Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Engineering by assisting in all aspects of planning related to the maintenance of resort buildings and grounds. This includes oversight of fire, life & safety systems, electrical, plumbing, gas, HVAC, refrigeration, and structural elements, as well as painting and decorating. The role ensures that all physical assets are maintained with a comprehensive inventory and preventative maintenance program, complete with appropriate reporting, repair, and replacement protocols tied to a structured procurement system.

The Engineering Project Manager will respond to inquiries and issues in a professional and efficient manner to maximize guest satisfaction while adhering to all Four Seasons policies. Collaboration with contractors and construction firms on property-led projects, including planning, execution, and follow-up, is essential. The role also involves working across departments to meet the resort's Safety and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives, co-leading Green Team meetings, and ensuring active engagement from all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with management to accurately complete Capital Expense Approval forms for the acquisition of capital goods, ensuring timely completion of purchase orders and final invoices.
  • Maintain current status updates on all ongoing projects.
  • Coordinate with interior designers, planners, architects, consultants, engineers, and third-party reviewers for specialized applications and permitting.
  • Work with contractors to ensure that contracts are up to date and that services align with Engineering Procedures and Policies.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for advancing a high-tech and expansive physical product.
  • Possess extensive industry knowledge regarding building maintenance and energy management.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Lead training sessions across various skill levels to develop future engineers.
  • Display exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Show strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
