Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Jimmy's Auto Care Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they are safe and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct oil changes, air conditioner re-charges, inspections, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations, as well as rebuild engines.
  • Conduct Diagnostic Procedures: Utilize extensive diagnostic inventory to determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
  • Manage Paperwork: Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Requirements:

  • ASE Certification: An ASE certification from a trade or technical school in automotive or engineering is desirable for this position, but not required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of service technician experience.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must have own tools and knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Training: Willingness to participate in in-house training.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Ability to use Snap-On diagnostic tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Salary: Salary based on experience.
