**Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer Apprentice

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

**Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Engineer Apprentice. As a key member of our propulsion systems team, you will assist in determining unit condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests.

You will work closely with experienced technicians to complete engine overhauls and other repairs identified during the diagnostic process. Your responsibilities will also include verifying performance through sea trials, dyno acceptance, and making necessary adjustments as needed.

In addition, you will work to maintain cost efficiency by using warranty options and evaluating service and parts alternatives. You will also communicate effectively with customers on-site while maintaining a professional demeanor.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read service and repair manuals, operating instructions, and work orders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license and insurable
