Position Overview

The Bethel Learning Centers is on the lookout for a dedicated Center Director to oversee our early childhood education facility. This pivotal role is essential for maintaining the health, safety, and educational excellence for all children entrusted to our care. The Center Director will be responsible for the comprehensive operational management of the center, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a vision for quality education at the center, ensuring adherence to both state and local standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate educational effectiveness through established quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with staff to design and execute an engaging educational curriculum that meets regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate student records in line with enrollment protocols.
  • Foster communication with parents through various channels, including newsletters and direct interactions, while promoting community engagement.
  • Oversee menu planning and food procurement.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations.
  • Manage administrative functions such as payroll, accounts management, tuition billing, and human resources.
  • Address and resolve conflicts to ensure a supportive environment for all stakeholders.
  • Plan and review the center's budget to ensure financial health.
  • Establish and implement emergency procedures, ensuring staff are adequately trained.
  • Drive strategic initiatives aligned with the center's mission.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance service quality.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood education or a related discipline, with at least 30 credits in ECE.
  • A minimum of three years in a supervisory role.
  • Five years of hands-on experience in an early childhood environment.
  • High energy and a passion for child development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in technology.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • A solid understanding of child development principles.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
  • Passing a health screening is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ProCare Child Care Management System.
