Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our esteemed healthcare facility. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality patient care within the cardiac catheterization lab.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • Tech Cert Verification: National
  • HIPAA: Safety Manual Acknowledgement
  • Pass/Fail Testing: Acknowledgement
  • State License: Verification
  • NURSYS: Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Medication Testing: Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Competency Exam
Job Responsibilities
  • Local rate differential applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
  • First-time travelers with appropriate experience are welcome
  • No floating between departments required
  • Experience in both Teaching and Community Hospitals is preferred
  • Required skills include balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, ECMO, impella insertion, and left & right heart catheterization
  • Types of procedures include diagnostic cardiac peripheral interventions, impella, TAVR, and Mitraclip
  • Experience with McKesson charting & monitoring system is mandatory
  • Cerner experience is a plus
  • Scrubs will be provided
Essential Qualifications
  • BLS & ACLS: Required
  • RCIS Certification: Required
  • Scrub and Monitor: Experience required
  • Circulate: Experience preferred
  • EKG: Experience preferred
Schedule Details
  • Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 4 days per week
  • Call Requirements: On-call as needed, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
