Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of pediatric healthcare.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with invasive image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
  • Operate sophisticated cardiac medical imaging and diagnostic equipment, including fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, ultrasound, and 3D mapping systems.
  • Acquire and measure hemodynamic data, perform blood work analysis, and prepare procedure rooms and patients for procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interventional team to ensure optimal study quality and patient safety.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise in cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Technical diploma in radiology or related field required; experience in pediatric cardiology or cardiac catheterization preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Cardiac Interventional Radiology (CIR) certification preferred.
