Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at the J.R. Simplot Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and programming all packaging equipment on various lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Program and adjust packaging equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve operational goals.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of relevant experience, and a strong background in packaging operations and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. Overtime requirements are common, and relocation assistance is not offered. The position requires working around products containing soy, wheat, and dairy, and shift hours are from 6pm-6am.
