We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Women and Children's Transport Specialist. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, treat, and manage patients during transport, under the direction of the Director, Administrative Director, and Medical Director of the transport team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement systems, processes, and programs to improve quality of patient care and increase nursing efficiency throughout the transport process.
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor unit preceptor program in collaboration with transport team administration.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in the state of Texas.
- BCLS, ACLS, NRP Neonate Resuscitate, and other certifications as required.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification, PALS, C-NPT Neo Ped Transport, TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course, ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, and STABLE certifications preferred.
- Diploma, Associate, or BSN degree in Nursing.
- Two years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Neonatal, Pediatric, L&D, or other related areas.
- CCRN, PNCCT, TNATC, CTRN, CFRN certifications.
- Critical Care Transport Experience.
- Three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Neonatal, Pediatric, L&D, Adult, and/or Emergency Critical Care.
