Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Youth Activities Facilitator plays a crucial role in supporting the Program Manager by coordinating and executing a comprehensive program focused on after-school enrichment and academic support. This position involves direct engagement in the development and delivery of program services. Responsibilities include providing assistance to staff who deliver tutoring, activities, and training sessions for youth. The Youth Activities Facilitator operates under the supervision of the After-School Program Manager and typically works approximately 20 hours per week.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in organizing and scheduling activities at the assigned school site.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with funding and agency standards.
  • Support the development and execution of services provided during the after-school program.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the program.
  • Foster partnerships with relevant public and private organizations that offer services to students and their families.
  • Help implement operational procedures and policies for the after-school program.
  • Maintain effective communication with school staff regarding student needs and program details.
  • Keep records necessary for program management.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

WORK SCHEDULE:


This is a part-time position for 10 months, typically from September to June, requiring 20 hours of work per week.


QUALIFICATIONS:


A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.


Additionally, candidates must meet the following criteria prior to employment:

  • Consent for the agency to access driving record information.
