Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $16 hourly for full-time float caregivers and $13-$15 hourly for part-time or as needed non-float caregivers.

Job Description

">

As a caregiver with AccentCare, you will provide non-medical support, including personal home care and homemaking services, to enable clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Light housekeeping.
  • Medication reminders.
  • Companionship.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to ensure they receive the best possible care and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Six months experience with a home health agency or in a facility providing caregiving in the past four years.
  • A valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation (with current insurance) and ability to drive 30-60 miles from your home.
  • Available to be on call alternating weekends, and on call during the week.
  • Must want to have FUN while being the BEST.

We also require candidates to be physically fit, able to stand and walk throughout the majority of their shift on various surfaces in client's homes, lift and carry up to 30 pounds, push/pull various weights, climb stairs up to two levels daily, bend, twist, use rotating motions, and reach while performing various client care activities.
