Job Title: Building Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at The Facilities Group. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the building's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment
  • Respond to service requests from tenants and building management
  • Participate in engineering meetings and customer visits as required
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional weekend duty responsibilities.
