Job Summary

The City of Madera is seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our Public Works department, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing electrical maintenance and installation tasks, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise electrical maintenance and installation teams
  • Perform complex electrical work, including testing, installation, and repair of electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve electrical issues
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance plans
Requirements
  • Equivalent of three years of full-time experience in electrical maintenance and installation
  • High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by college-level coursework in electrical technology
  • Valid California driver's license and General Electrician certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
