Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of GS2 Aft Racks, Aft Module Assembly, & Aft Thrust Structure with a focus on Safety.
  • Guide team members to ensure their success and safety.
  • Promote continuous learning and growth among team members.
  • Monitor team performance, development, and fulfillment.
  • Lead recruitment processes and make hiring recommendations.
  • Implement safety and efficiency improvements.
  • Assign work center tasks, provide training, and manage schedules.
  • Maintain shop programs for Safety, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • Passion for the role and the mission.
  • Experience in leadership roles working directly with teams.
  • Understanding of different production environments.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and embrace dynamic responsibilities.
  • Additional duties as required to support the mission.
  • Must meet U.S. citizenship or residency requirements.
Desired Skills:
  • Over 12 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering documentation.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Lean certification and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience in new product introduction and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Background in Aerospace/Launch vehicles.
  • Experience with product assembly and system integration.
