Job Title: Production Supervisor Precision Cleaning Facility

At Blue Origin, we're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. We're seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our Precision Cleaning Facility team.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of technicians in the precision cleaning, chemical processing, and inspection of aerospace hardware for various spaceflight systems.
  • Lead the team in all aspects of propulsion module, engine, and subassembly manufacturing.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to review design concepts, provide feedback, and support development tests.
  • Manage resource projections, personnel assignments, and labor hours to meet demanding schedules.
  • Provide status updates on hardware deliveries and ensure all products meet quality standards.
  • Develop training programs and ensure team members' training records are accurate.
  • Maintain stock of consumable items, tools, and equipment, and ensure proper 5S and FOD controls are in place.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or maintenance of chemical, fluid, and mechanical components.
  • Knowledge of drawing and work order review, and familiarity with issue tracking systems.
  • Strong organization and people skills in a team environment with multiple dynamic priorities.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years leading teams working on fluid systems with applied chemistry fundamentals.
  • Certification in precision cleaning, chemical processing, and hardware inspection.
  • Familiarity with standard aerospace manufacturing materials and chemical compatibility.
  • Experience inspecting and troubleshooting aerospace or military hardware.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM drawing packages and software systems.
