Surgical Technologist

Job Summary:

Whitecap Search is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a top-notch Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, providing support and assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or issues, taking prompt action to resolve them.

Requirements:

• Diploma from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• At least two years of experience in an operating room setting, or equivalent background.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
