Job Summary:
Whitecap Search is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a top-notch Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment with precision.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, providing emotional support and addressing patient concerns.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to identify and resolve equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- At least two years of experience in an operating room setting, with a strong background in surgical procedures and patient care.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
