Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the Parking and Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Duties:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain order and ensure safety.
  • Identify and address any suspicious activities or individuals.
  • Secure the property by monitoring access points and inspecting buildings and equipment.
  • Prevent theft and damage by reporting irregularities and enforcing policies.
  • Assist individuals in need and respond promptly to security calls.
  • Document daily surveillance activities and significant incidents in weekly reports.
  • Comply with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain First Aid training and be aware of emergency equipment locations.

Parking Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that customer parking areas are utilized effectively and are free from unauthorized vehicles.
  • Monitor tenant employee parking to ensure compliance with permit regulations.
  • Observe and report any potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Engage with the public to provide information about parking regulations and the Market.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in parking areas to optimize space usage.
  • Issue parking violations as necessary and manage the towing of illegally parked vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in security is preferred.
  • Proficient in using communication devices and report writing.
