Job Title: Energy Investment Banking Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Energy Investment Banking Associate to join our team in Houston.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and participate in client presentations to deliver financial solutions through industry and banking expertise.
  • Compile financial analyses, including valuation, ECM scenarios, and three-statement operational models.
  • Analyze business plans and participate in due diligence sessions to provide superior financial solutions.
  • Draft private and public marketing materials, such as offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, and S-1s.
  • Participate actively in drafting sessions to contribute to building and maintaining client relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of Investment Banking or Equity Research experience covering the Energy sector.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and detailed company summary report preparation.
  • Willing to relocate to Houston or live in the area.
  • Resourceful self-starter with strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated team player and leader with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.

Jefferies offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $225,000, an annual discretionary incentive and retention bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs.
