About the Role

Soliant Health is seeking two highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our team in a school district. As an SLPA, you will have the opportunity to work across elementary and middle school levels, providing speech and language therapy to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students, utilizing evidence-based practices to support student communication needs.
  • Evaluation and Planning: Conduct evaluations and assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs and ensure a cohesive educational experience.
  • Work Schedule: Work onsite, full-time, from Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements
  • SLPA License or Certification: Hold a valid SLPA license or certification in North Carolina.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team under the supervision of an SLP.
  • Commitment: Demonstrate a commitment to providing therapy services onsite and assisting with evaluations and therapy plans.
