Job Overview

At Great American Cookies & Marble Slab Creamery - Alexandria, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager/Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of store cleanliness, and driving sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all team members provide excellent guest service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising, ensuring a welcoming and inviting environment for customers.
  • Sales and Profitability: Monitor sales and labor issues on a daily basis, identifying opportunities to maximize profitability without compromising customer service.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure individual and team success.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste and overstocking.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement and maintain effective loss prevention measures, reducing shrinkage and protecting company assets.

  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a strong focus on customer service and sales growth.
  • Communication and Organization: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
