Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate the care of psychiatric patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required within 30 days of hire/transfer.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
